Looking for a quick, colourful board game scented with southern sunshine? Then look no further! With Les Sardines de Marseille, the family card game published by Faire Play Éditions (and distributed by the Creative and Cool team), you can plunge straight into the atmosphere of Marseille. Legend has it that a sardine blocked the port of Marseille... But at your table, it's up to you to fill your cans as quickly as possible to block your opponents!
🐟 A simple objective, but no easy task
In this atmospheric puzzle game, your goal is crystal clear: to be the first player to fill and seal three cans of sardines. To do this, you have to place three small fish in your open cans, then close them with a "Lid" card. But beware of the rigours of Marseille! You can't just arrange your sardines any old way: you have to place them in staggered rows (head to tail), scrupulously respecting the direction in which they are arranged.
🥫 Clever, spicy card mechanics
Each turn, you face a dilemma: play a card from your hand to advance your catch, or discard to pick up better cards. But watch out for your opponents! Each Sardine card has an effect (bonus or penalty) that other players will be delighted to use to steal fish straight from your own tins. Add to that the dreaded 'Cat' card, which waits for the deck to run out, and you've got a game with constant twists and turns!
