🎨 Quadri Kids: How to play!
The aim is simple: be the cleverest at recreating shapes using colours and score as many points as possible! 🏆
📦 What you’ll need
48 Colour tiles (12 of each colour: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) 🟦🟥🟨⬛
42 Objective cards: These show a shape to be created and the points it is worth (often 3 points). 🃏🔢
🚀 Set-up
Deal 2 Objective cards to each player. 👐
The remaining cards form a draw pile, face down. 🤫
Create 4 stacks of tiles, one for each colour. 🧱
In the centre, arrange 4 different tiles in a square: this is the starting point of the shared playing area! 🏁
🕹️ How do you play?
The youngest player goes first! 👶 (Makes sense – it’s Quadri Kids!)
On your turn:
Draw a tile of your chosen colour from one of the piles. 🫳🟩
You must place it according to these two rules:
Edge-to-edge (not diagonally) with a tile that’s already been placed. 📏
OR on top of another tile (there’s no limit on how many layers high you can go – it can stack up!). 🏗️
🎯 Claiming a goal
Immediate action: As soon as you see the shape of one of your cards replicated on the board, shout ‘Victory!’ 🗣️✅
You can claim a goal even if it’s not your turn (you’ve got to keep your eyes peeled!). 👀⚡
The shape can be the same way round as on the card or mirrored. 🪞
Once validated, place the card in front of you and draw a new one so you always have two in your hand. 🃏🃏
🏁 End of the game
The winner is the player who has accumulated the most points by completing their objectives! 🥇🥳
